This is a 1947 Volkswagen Beetle. It was first brought into Ireland and registered here in 1956, hence the registration is a 1956 registration.
It’s solid and driving well. The original engine and gearbox are available however would need to be rebuilt. There is a more modern Beetle engine and gearbox currently installed.
The body is very good however could do with some care and attention for those who want a specimen car. I am also told the bumpers are incorrect for the period, but for such a rare car this is a minor criticism.
